Lasting Memories

Marjorie G Cuevas-Hidalgo
Dec. 31, 1956-March 17, 2022
Carmichael, California

Marjorie G. Cuevas-Hidalgo, aged 65, passed away in her home surrounded by her loved ones on March 17, 2022, in Carmichael, CA, where she lived for 5 years. Margie was born in Redwood City, CA, on December 31, 1956, to James and Shirley Styles, but lived most of her life in Menlo Park, CA, where she raised four children: Joseph Hidalgo, RaeAnne Cuevas, Christina Hidalgo, and Nicholas Hidalgo. She is survived by her husband Michael Hidalgo, her children, and her four grandchildren: Leighna Hidalgo, Elliana Argumedo Hidalgo, Gabriel Cuevas, and Alexander Hidalgo. She courageously battled lung cancer for three long months and never stopped fighting.

Margie had a zest for life. She loved going to musicals with friends and family; taking trips to Disneyland with her family; living her dream of being a stay-at-home “Mimi” (as her grandchildren lovingly called her); and enjoyed ending the day with a pack of M&Ms while watching one of her favorite TV shows. She was devoted to those she loved, and spent her entire life working hard to provide for her family and offer them great lives. Margie always put others first and showed endless love and compassion to everyone she knew.

Though her physical body is gone, Margie will live forever through the memories and stories of those who love her.
