Russ Peach
Sept. 9, 1935-Feb. 10, 2024
Woodside, California

Russ Peach passed away from cancer while on hospice at his home in Minnesota with his sister, niece, and great niece by his side and is survived by his 2 sisters and many nieces and nephews. Russ was born on September 9, 1935 on a farm in Centuria, Wisconsin. He had 9 siblings. In 1954, at the age of 19, Russ left his country life and made his way to San Francisco, California before settling in Woodside. Whether you had horse property and needed arena and drainage work, fences to be mended, barns to be fixed up, a home to be remodeled, or you had fields that needed yearly mowing, Russ Peach was a household name. Always wearing a John Deer hat and never too far from his tractor Russ was known by everyone. Russ spent 69 years in Woodside and was always available for a hang out at the Pioneer, dinner at Harry’s Hofbrau, horses to be boarded on his property, or any tractor service work you may need. Woodside doesn’t feel the same without him. He will be missed by many. There will be a celebration of life for Russ at the Pioneer on March 16th from 4-6pm.
