In loving memory of Robert Eon McLean, born on July 2, 1927, in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, and raised in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Robert was a distinguished graduate of San Jose State with a master's in education administration and earned a doctorate in education administration from Stanford University.

His remarkable 37-year career in education included being the inaugural principal of Gunn High School in Palo Alto,1964 and later serving as assistant superintendent of schools and Director of Personnel. Following his dedicated service to education, he transitioned to a second career, spending 14 years as a realtor with Century 21 in Soquel,CA.

Beyond his professional achievements, Robert was an active and compassionate member of his community. He volunteered with Meals on Wheels and the Volunteer Transportation Programs of Santa Cruz County. His commitment extended to serving as a docent at Seacliff State Park.

In 1951, Robert married the love of his life, Elda Beth McLean, affectionately known as Ebee. Together, they shared a beautiful journey for 61 years until Ebee's passing. He is preceded in death by Ebee, their son Scott, brother Bill, sisters Pearl and Barbara, and granddaughter Heather.

Robert is survived by his son Todd and his wife Lisa and their three loving children: Joey (married to Lauren), Bobby (married to Elora), and Steven (married to Lindsey), as well as eight cherished great-grandchildren.

In celebrating the life of Robert Eon McLean, we remember a man of wisdom, dedication, and love, leaving an indelible impact on those fortunate enough to have known him. May his legacy live on in our hearts.
