Marjorie Elenor Trainer
April 20, 1940-Oct. 22, 2026
San Carlos, California

Marjorie Elenor (Daniels) Trainer was born in San Francisco on April 20, 1940, to Mr. and Mrs. John S. Daniels. Growing up in San Francisco Marjorie came to love swimming, dancing, art, and reading. She graduated from Lincoln High School, then attended University of California, Berkley where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in education. She returned to San Francisco, where she taught in public schools, before moving to San Carlos where she continued to teach math and art to third through sixth grade students.

On a ski trip to northern California, Marjorie met the man who would become her husband, France “Beau” Clement Trainer II. They were married in San Carlos in 1968 and raised two boys, France Clement Trainer III and Shawn Daniel Trainer. They lived happily in San Carlos and eventually moved to Redwood City where Beau sadly passed away in 2000.

Marjorie continued to teach math and art until her retirement from public education. In retirement she transitioned into training new math teachers and teaching at a charter school until the age of 75 when health issues lead to her finally retiring for good and moving to Paradise, California to enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountains.

Eventually her health issues grew more severe, and she moved to Oregon to be in the care of her brother. Alzheimer’s claimed her far too soon, but she was comfortable, cared for, and passed peacefully in her sleep on October 22, 2026, and she has now joined our Lord for her final rest.

A graveside service will be held for Marjorie on Friday, November 6, 2026, at 11:00am at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park in Coloma, California. All who knew Marjorie are welcome to attend.
