Madelaine “Mad” Juri Vairora passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023, surrounded by her husband and 2 daughters in Folsom, California.

Mad was the second of five born to Elgin and Dorothy Juri of Menlo Park, California on October 28, 1950. She grew up in Menlo Park and attended St. Raymond’s Catholic School and graduated from Woodside High School in 1968. She began her drama career at Canada College and then on to San Diego State University as a Drama Major where she starred in many plays. Mad spent a short time in New York to pursue her major and decided to move back to the Bay Area. She then met the love of her life, Ron Vairora, had 2 daughters, Corinne and Renee, and settled in Fremont, California. Mad worked for the city of Fremont for 13 years as a Senior Assistant in the Community Development Department. In 2008, Ron and Mad retired to Folsom, California.

Mad was preceded in death by her parents and older brother Elgin. She is survived by her husband, Ron, of 45 years, daughters Corinne Donohue (Shawn) and Renee Rickard (Nick) as well as her 3 grandchildren, Hayden, Graeme, and Reagan.
