Joan Trewhitt of Woodside, California, 93, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2023. She was born in Verdun, Quebec and came to the US where she became a naturalized citizen on July 12, 1955. She worked as a secretary in the Airline industry and eventually met the love of her life Wayne D. Trewhitt III who predeceased Joan in 2012. Joan and Wayne had been married for 50 years.

She is survived by her daughter Stacy Conner of Lake Tahoe, California, and Stacy’s two sons Ryan and Blake Conner, and by her daughter Stephanie Trewhitt of Montana. Joan loved spending time with her grandsons at Lake Tahoe skiing and sailing every year and their yearly Christmas trip to Maui.

Currently no formal services are planned. The family will celebrate Joan's life privately.
