Don Peterson passed away peacefully on January 18, 2023. Don has a successful career designing buildings as a structural engineer. He joined Clarence Rinne to open the first structural engineering firm in Silicon Valley. He leaves behind his wife Joan, his two daughters, Gail(Kai) and Christy, four stepchildren, six grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

Don married his childhood sweetheart, Nancy Reiner, with whom he celebrated 40 years of happy marriage. In 1997, he married Joan Craig and the next 25 years were joyfully spent traveling, camping, hiking, biking, and enjoying many family activities and gatherings. Don was known for his sense of humor, gentlemanly manner, marathon running, and cycling events.
